The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including coaching, recruiting, training, practice planning, and administrative duties. This individual plays a key role in the development and success of student-athletes, both on and off the field.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assists with on-campus recruitment of student-athletes. </li><li>Assists in coaching and game preparation as assigned by Head Coach. </li><li>Assists with budget preparations, as requested. </li><li>Assists with development of schedules for practice and competition, including making travel arrangements. </li><li>Monitors condition of equipment and facilities, requests repairs or replacement, as necessary. </li><li>Participates in clinics, exhibitions and camps, as approved. </li><li>Assists in monitoring the academic progress and eligibility status of student athletes. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or the successful experience in playing and/or coaching the sport.</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Successful experience in playing and/or coaching the sport at the college level is preferred.</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Physically fit for the sport activities. Subject to inside and outside environment conditions.</p> <p>This position is not eligible for benefits.</p>
