We are looking for a dedicated Paramedic Air Life like you to be a part of our team.</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>The AirLife Adult/Pediatric Transport Team Paramedic utilizes their experience, education, and training to both autonomously and collaboratively deliver critical care to critically ill and/or injured patients aboard fixed-wing aircraft, rotor wing aircraft, and ground ambulance between medical facilities or directly from the scene of an accident or illness. The Adult/Pediatric Transport Paramedic provides care to a broad age range of patients from infants (weighing> 5 kg) to geriatric patients.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates, delivers, and documents all aspects of patient care in collaboration with referral teams, physicians, AirLife team members, patients, and families while adhering to established standards of care and scope of practice. </li><li>Works autonomously and collaboratively, adhering to AirLife clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures with minimal support. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of PHI in accordance with AirLife, HCA, and HIPAA standards. </li><li>Demonstrates awareness of and routinely practices safe work habits and adheres to the AirLife Commitment to Safety. </li><li>Maintains proficiency in flight physiology, general aircraft, and ambulance safety operations, and emergency procedures. </li><li>Participates in quality improvement initiatives including chart reviews, data collection, and process improvement. </li><li>Supports the mission of AirLife and HCA including the pillars of Safety, Service, Quality, People, and Growth and adheres to the AirLife Rules of the Game </li><li>Participates in outreach activities including transport safety and clinical education. </li><li>Completes orientation requirements within an appropriate timeframe as determined by AirLife Leadership. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Practices and adheres to the HCA Code of Conduct and AirLife Mission and Vision </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Paramedic training program required </li><li>5+ years caring for diverse patient populations as a flight, surface transport or in-hospital paramedic required </li><li>BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required upon hire </li><li>CO Paramedic with Critical Care endorsement required </li><li>FP-C Required </li><li>National Registry Paramedic Required </li><li>KS, NE, WY Paramedic required upon hire </li><li>Critical care transport experience preferred </li><li>Bachelors degree preferred </li></ul> <p>HCA HealthONE, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the Rocky Mountain region, offers more than 170 care sites in the Denver-metro area.
