Join our committed team and help shape the future we envision.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The EPICARE INPATIENT ORDERS ANALYST II advances Moffitt's mission to prevent and cure cancer by contributing to the design, implementation, and support of clinical and enterprise applications that improve patient care, research, and operational performance. This mid-level role manages technical solutions for moderately complex projects, collaborates with clinical and operational teams, and provides guidance to junior analysts. By ensuring effective and reliable technology solutions, the Analyst II empowers staff and clinicians to deliver exceptional cancer care and research outcomes.</p> <p>This role is responsible for order entry and transmittal workflows-ensuring that medication, lab, and procedure orders flow correctly through Epic and to downstream systems.</p> <p>The Analyst II will:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, design, configure, build, test, implement and maintain clinical and enterprise applications, including moderately complex system components. </li><li>Troubleshoot multifaceted issues spanning software, hardware, interfaces, and databases. </li><li>Monitors system performance </li><li>Perform quality assurance and integrated testing to ensure application reliability and alignment with organizational standards. </li><li>Supports projects and develop application-specific enhancements and reports to support clinical and operational priorities. </li><li>Develops and maintains system documentation for build specifications. </li><li>Mentor and guide Analyst I team members on technical tasks and processes. </li><li>Provide 24/7 operational support for assigned applications and participate in on-call rotations as needed. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree (Business, IS, Healthcare, or related field of study required)</p> <p>LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION</p> <p>Epic certification is required</p> <p>Minimum Experience Required:</p> <p>5 years applicable system build experience; high level complexity</p> <p>Variable Applications:</p> <p>Inpatient / Outpatient</p> <p>Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required</p> <ul> <li>Advanced knowledge of application support and development. </li><li>Experience in project management and team leadership. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. </li><li>Experience with workflow analysis or development of application solutions preferred. </li><li>If supporting an Epic application, experience in Epic applications, other electronic health record applications, and/or healthcare operations background (e.g., clinical, billing, scheduling, access services, health information management, etc.) preferred. </li><li>Must hold EPIC certification in designated application area(s) </li><li>Knowledge of clinical, business, and/or operational healthcare hospital/clinic workflows preferred. </li><li>Strong project management and presentation skills preferred. </li><li>Professional level certification from an accredited organization in relevant informatics, health information technology, clinical or business specialties preferred. </li><li>Excellent presentation and documentation skills. </li></ul> <p>Share:</p>
