Bulldog student-athletes thrive in the classroom and their respective field of play. The successful candidate will support a positive academic, athletic, and social environment for student-athletes while creating a culture of excellence and ethics. Prior college coaching experience is preferred.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>Knowledge and basic proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li>Proven experience leading a successful rowing program </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience playing at the collegiate level preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of applicable NCAA Rules and regulations. </li><li>Master's degree preferred. </li><li>Coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level preferred. </li></ul> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>20% - Design and implement effective training programs, training, and competition plans that maximize player development and team performance. - (Essential) </li><li>20% - Support a positive academic, athletic, and social environment for student-athletes within the women's rowing program creating a culture of excellence and ethics. - (Essential) </li><li>20% - Recruit and retain student-athletes able to thrive at Drake on and off the water - (Essential) </li><li>20% - Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches and other staff as assigned.
