They will lead advanced analytics initiatives for strategic consulting and high-impact client engagements. Working under the guidance of the Director of Data Science, they will translate client business needs into actionable analytics solutions, supporting all phases of pharmaceutical development. The Senior Data Scientist will also support product quality testing capabilities and, as a subject matter expert (SME), build capacity for advanced analytics solutions within the Services organization.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead analytics for strategic consulting opportunities and high-impact client engagements, including feasibility assessments, novel dataset creation, and advanced analytics </li><li>Design and execute advanced statistical and machine learning models to extract insights from complex, multi-modal RWD assets including EHR, claims, and genomic data </li><li>Under the supervision of the Director, gather client business, translate those into scoped analytics that support the broad lifecycle of pharmaceutical drug development, and present findings to client teams </li><li>Collaborate across the organization with product and engineering teams to develop innovative offerings, tailored for high-impact client engagements </li><li>Conduct in depth analysis across ConcertAI data pipelines to leverage all available technology and data assets to advance client goals and deliverable excellence </li><li>Support product quality, testing, and development efforts including translating the business case for product enhancements and platform capacity expansion </li><li>Serve as advanced analytics subject matter expert for multiple analytics and data science teams in RWE </li><li>Actively contribute to advanced analytics capacity building for a cross-functional team of data scientists, genomic experts, and RWE consultants </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Total experience of 6+ years through a combination of </li><li>1) advanced degree in quantitative field such as computer science, AI/Machine Learning, Data Science, Biostatistics, Mathematics, engineering, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related discipline </li><li>2) relevant experience in analytics or data science leveraging large medical and healthcare-related datasets in Life Sciences or Biotech industry </li><li>3+ years of experience and deep understanding of statistical inference and predictive modeling applied to operational and strategic business needs </li><li>4+ years of experience and advanced programming proficiency in Python and/or R, with expertise in data manipulation, statistical modeling, and machine learning </li><li>3+ years of experience and advanced proficiency utilizing SQL to query relational data and working within modern platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS) </li><li>2+ years of experience with data visualization tools and frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Plotly, Shiny) </li><li>Experience working in an internal or external client facing capacity </li><li>Excellent leadership and time management skills, contributing across multiple projects with flexibility and strong organizational/prioritization skills </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; ability to translate between business needs and technical implementation </li><li>Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to structure work independently </li></ul> <p>Learn More About ConcertAI</p> <p>Our team at ConcertAI is dedicated to transforming healthcare decision-making through the application of RWE and AI to improve patient outcomes.
