This position requires the in depth knowledge and skills necessary to certify that all aspects of a quality laboratory are in place to ensure quality testing and meet the needs of our customers. He/she participates in the education and professional development of laboratory personnel, new employees and students and may participate in the performance of routine administrative and non-routine technical functions.</p> <p>Technical Coordinator Position Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or Biological Science and eligible for certification by an approved agency with a specialty certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Three years experience in specific section or area of specialty, preferable as Senior Technologist or with comparable supervisory experience. </li></ul> <p>Technical Coordinator Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Routinely works day shift, Monday through Friday. </li><li>Rotational coverage of weekends and holidays. </li><li>Expected to work in times of staffing shortages, emergencies, disasters and unexpected increases in workload. </li><li>Expected to provide professional time, advice and expertise as necessary to ensure quality laboratory service. </li><li>May be required to be on-duty for extended periods of time during emergency situations including computer downs. </li></ul> <p>Technical Coordinator Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members wor (king at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $68,057.60 - $105,476.80 Commensurate with experience</p>
