The shift is 8am-4:30pm, located at Riley Hospital for Children. This position will require visiting other sites for in-person education.</p> <p>Plans, develops, facilitates, implements, and evaluates sonographer education in the IUH MFM ultrasound locations. Maintaining competencies of all MFM sonographers; including participation in sonographer evaluations in collaboration with MFM providers to ensure sonographers are competent to perform duties as outlined in their job description. Working with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and fetal interventionalists, performs high-risk obstetric ultrasounds using high frequency ultrasound equipment according to prescribed protocols, policies and procedures while ensuring quality patient care. Assists Maternal Fetal Medicine physician/ Fetal interventionalist in the performance of diagnostic and fetal intervention surgeries performed in clinic and in the operating room. Requires ability to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and training resources.</p> <ul> <li>Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience. </li><li>Basic Life Support certification required. </li><li>Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. </li><li>Active status through one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Obstetrics & Gynecology, RDMS (OB/GYN). </li><li>Requires completion of an accredited ultrasound training program. </li><li>May be required to meet registry/ certification requirements for another modality, if applicable. </li></ul> <p>#LI-Onsite</p>
