<p>Description</p> <p>Position at Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc.</p> <p>$2,000 HIRING BONUS</p> <p>Sumitomo is looking for a full time experienced Maintenance Technician to join our New Berlin, WI team.</p> <p>Brief Description:</p> <p>With limited supervision and technical guidance, keep plant machinery and mechanical in good working order. Perform intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving of various manufacturing machines.</p> <p>Exceptional Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Outstanding Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Paid Vacation and Holidays </li><li>401(k) Employer Match </li><li>Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance </li><li>Company Paid Basic Life Insurance </li><li>Educational Reimbursement </li></ul> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Examine machines to diagnose trouble, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation </li><li>May occasionally make replacement parts </li><li>Cleaning filters and elements and completing general PM on coolant systems and mist collection components </li><li>Changing or adding oils and lubricants to production equipment </li><li>General cleaning and organization of tools and maintenance area </li><li>May need to provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff </li></ul> <p>What skills and experience are needed:</p> <ul> <li>Ability work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidance </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs.+ </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors </li><li>Three years preventive and predictive industrial maintenance experience </li><li>Strongly preferred candidates have previous experience with CNC grinding equipment such as; Walter, Ewag, Rollamatic, ANCA, Waida, etc. </li><li>General knowledge and skill with basic hand tools </li></ul> <p>Work Environment: Well-lit and clean machine shop with moderate noise. Staff members will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, bending, and climbing.
