<p>Description</p> <p>The Senior Human Resources Director (SHRD)is responsible for overseeing all facets of the HR function, including talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, and professional development.</p> <p>The SHRD drives initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture, enhance employee engagement, and develop career pathing programs. Additionally, this role provides critical human resources guidance, leverages workforce analytics to inform decision-making, ensures compliance with employment laws, and implements programs that strengthen retention, performance, and organizational effectiveness.</p> <p>Arkansas Foodbank team members will demonstrate a commitment to our mission and to the fight against hunger in the state. They must have a clear understanding of and ability to articulate the mission and vision of the organization and a desire to work with diverse populations. Individuals in this position may occasionally work irregular hours as necessary.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Lead and manage all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compensation, compliance, and professional development.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend weekly leadership meetings, offering HR guidance and recommendations on all employee-related matters.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and manage the organization's compensation structure using Feeding America's annual compensation report to ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal equity.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and implement a career pathing plan that fosters employee growth within their current roles, emphasizing skill enhancement, professional development, and long-term engagement, creating meaningful opportunities for advancement in the absence of traditional promotion paths.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive Belonging and Inclusion initiatives to cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct and manage investigations into workplace grievances and employee relations issues, ensuring thorough documentation, compliance with legal and ethical standards, and fair resolution in alignment with company policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead all compliance efforts related to employment law, regulatory mandates, OSHA, and DOL requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively utilize company software systems and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer and manage the workers' compensation program, ensuring timely reporting, compliance with regulations, and coordination of return-to-work initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and analyze key HR metrics monthly, including retention, turnover, and engagement.</p> </li><li> <p>Screen resumes and provide hiring managers with a shortlist of qualified candidates and collaborate on interview selection ensuring a consistent and equitable recruitment process that aligns with organizational Belong and Inclusion initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and implement a succession planning framework to identify and prepare future leaders.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the annual benefits renewal and implementation process, ensuring plans remain competitive and cost-effective.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee HRIS systems and leverage workforce analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer annual performance reviews ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete the annual NAR report, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely submission.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the annual employee engagement and pulse surveys, analyzing results to develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance workplace culture, retention, and employee satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Update and maintain policies, employee handbooks, supervisor manual and compliance guidelines to align with best practices and legal requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee employee recognition and rewards programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze exit interview data and provide leadership with actionable insights to improve retention and workplace culture.</p> </li></ol> <p>Commitment to Equal Opportunity and Inclusion</p> <p>Arkansas Foodbank is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities. The following qualifications are preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required, master's degree preferred. </li><li>5-7 years of HR experience, including 3 years in leadership. Nonprofit experience a plus. </li><li>HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) </li><li>Strong ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership. </li><li>Extensive experience in talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development. </li><li>Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, compensation, benefits, and HRIS systems. </li><li>Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution abilities. Experience in training and employee relations. </li><li>Passion for hunger relief, belonging, and inclusion. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Must have Arkansas driver's license and insurance. </li><li>Must pass background check and preemployment drug screening </li></ul>
