<p>This position is accountable for teaching and the supervision of students in Hospitality Management Instructor state frameworks and curriculum disciplines under the direction of the Hospitality Management Department Head.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (to be included along with other responsibilities)</p> <ol> <li>Responsible for the implementation of departmental curriculum objectives based on State of Massachusetts VTE frameworks for Hospitality Management. </li><li>Advanced educational preparation in Hospitality Management applications. </li><li>Responsible for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, gender, age, marital status, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, homelessness, or disability. </li><li>Performance of other job-related duties as assigned. </li></ol> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li>MA DESE Vocational Technical Teacher's License (Chapter 74) in Hospitality Management. </li><li>Advanced educational/industry preparation in Hospitality Management applications. </li><li>Evidence of full-time experience directly related to hospitality management. </li><li>Knowledge of ServSafe regulations. </li><li>Evidence of good human relation skills. </li><li>Competent in computer applications. </li></ol> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li>Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs </li><li>Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese or an African Language. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with second language acquisition </li></ol> <p>WORK YEAR: 185 days</p> <p>SALARY: Salary scale shown is based on the candidate meeting the requirements for Vocational Level 1.
