<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Manager Center for Innovation and Learning</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Manager, Center for Innovation and Learning to lead our simulation, training, and educational technology operations. This role oversees a state-of-the-art simulation center, high-tech conference and training spaces, and a growing portfolio of clinical education programs that support patient safety, workforce development, and organizational excellence.</p> <p>The Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure innovative, high-quality learning experiences for clinicians, students, and community partners.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead day-to-day operations of the Center for Innovation and Learning, including scheduling, resource management, and technology support.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise Technology Specialist and Simulation Technician.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee audiovisual systems, conference room technology, and vendor/service coordination.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and service contracts.</p> </li><li> <p>Direct all simulation activities across multiple training sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, plan, and implement simulation scenarios in collaboration with clinical and education partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate simulation software and manikins (e.g., Laerdal, Studiocode).</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure alignment with organizational goals for patient safety, competency development, and workforce training.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide training, orientation, and user support to internal and external participants.</p> </li><li> <p>Support instructional design for simulation-based training programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Create videos, digital assets, and technology-enhanced learning materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure high-quality facilitation, debriefing support, and learner experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote the center's capabilities and support revenue-generating partnerships.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the simulation program through tours, presentations, and external engagement.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay current with trends in medical simulation and recommend program enhancements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in healthcare education, simulation, instructional design, or related fields.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills in project management, collaboration, and technology troubleshooting.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with audiovisual systems, simulation technology, and Microsoft Office.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights and Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Days - 40 hrs/wk</p> </li><li> <p>Great Benefits</p> </li><li> <p>Health Insurance Coverage - Starting Day 1</p> </li><li> <p>Career growth and advancement potential</p> </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897.
