<p>Job Description</p> <p>Ensure policies, procedures, and all activities are carried out to support BRS goals and objectives in Alloys on their respective crew assignments.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements and "where applicable" ResponsibleSteel </li><li>requirements are followed. </li><li>Capable of conducting Alloy responsibilities in a safe manner </li><li>Monitor and inspect incoming deliveries in accordance with requirements </li><li>Ensure good housekeeping practices are carried out throughout job areas and grounds </li><li>Coordinate with scale house, operations and downstream operations with daily activities </li><li>Support other departments as needed to strengthen BRS profitability and continual improvement efforts. </li><li>Assist shift supervisor in achieving operational goals and ensuring crew safety while developing the skills. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Quality and detail oriented </li><li>Strong technical and analytical/ problem solving skills/ mechanically inclined </li><li>Good insight into team dynamics and positive team player </li><li>Good verbal communication skills; computer literate </li><li>Ability to routinely lift and move objects during shift </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus </li><li>Previous related experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:</p> <p>This position requires the ability to routinely work in a hot environment with scheduled 12 rotating shifts, across weekends and published holidays. This position also requires repetitive stretching, reaching, walking and lifting 50# to support routine responsibilities.</p>
