This includes assisting the legal, compliance, fraud, AML/CFT, and operational risk teams in coordinating meetings, preparing reports, monitoring processes, and ensuring smooth workflow within the department to support regulatory compliance and internal risk policies.</p> <p>Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Risk Department, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, conferences, travel and departmental activities </li><li>Maintains and organizes risk documentation, including policies, procedures and internal reports </li><li>Assists in assigning, tracking and following-up on outstanding risk related tasks and matters </li><li>Coordinates required compliance trainings, including scheduling and coordination of facilities, and keeping records of attendance; sets up new employees for online compliance training and monitors online compliance training status for employees and prepares reports as requested </li><li>Coordinates the collection, tracking and response to subpoena requests for the entire enterprise </li><li>Coordinates registration and tracking processes for the Bank's signature medallion stamp program </li><li>Manages the collection, tracking and reporting of risk team availability for project management purposes </li><li>Serves as a member of the risk team's event committee </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>At least three years of administrative/office experience required </li><li>Some banking or other financial-related experience preferred </li><li>Two-year post-secondary degree/specialized study preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to deal effectively with customers and employees at all levels of the bank organization </li><li>Knowledge about corporate governance procedures helpful </li><li>Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) </li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and/or oral) </li><li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Strong customer service skills </li><li>Strong organizational and planning skills </li><li>Excellent listening and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and use independent judgment </li></ul> <p>Hiring Salary Range</p> <p>The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.
