<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Explain the essential responsibilities of this position. Include the major aspects of the job. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.</p> <p>Receiving & Material Control</p> <ul> <li>Receive inbound deliveries and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders </li><li>Inspect materials for damage and accuracy </li><li>Perform material receipt transactions in company software systems </li><li>Label and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations </li><li>Coordinate resolution of receiving discrepancies </li></ul> <p>Material Staging & Production Support</p> <ul> <li>Stage materials for prefab and assembly operations </li><li>Maintain material availability for scheduled production activities </li><li>Coordinate movement of materials between warehouse and fabrication areas </li><li>Support workflow efficiency through organized staging practices </li></ul> <p>Shipping & Outbound Logistics</p> <ul> <li>Prepare completed assemblies for shipment </li><li>Package materials to prevent damage during transit </li><li>Coordinate outbound freight scheduling as needed </li><li>Load trucks safely and efficiently </li></ul> <p>Inventory Accuracy & Systems</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate inventory through timely system updates </li><li>Perform cycle counts as assigned </li><li>Assist with inventory organization and location management </li><li>Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes </li></ul> <p>Equipment Operation</p> <ul> <li>Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely </li><li>Support loading/unloading operations </li><li>Follow all safety policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Warehouse Coordination Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist with daily workflow coordination across receiving, staging, and shipping activities </li><li>Communicate material shortages or issues impacting production </li><li>Support organization and housekeeping of warehouse areas </li><li>Assist with training or mentoring newer warehouse personnel as needed </li></ul> <p>Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination:</p> <p>§ Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.</p> <p>§ Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.</p> <p>§ Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.</p> <p>§ Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.</p> <p>§ Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.</p> <p>§ Financial</p> <p>§ LIMITS OF AUTHORITY: Financial limits of authority for bidding, contracts, change orders, and lien waivers may be viewed by the incumbent on the "Levels of Authority" document located on the Company F drive. It is the employee's responsibility to stay current on these limits of authority.</p> <p>Qualifications and Requirements</p> <p>Provide minimum education and experience required to perform the job. (Please specify minimum education required and number of years' experience and/or at what level.) Specific types of certifications required to perform the job (if applicable).</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma (or equivalent) required </li><li>Prior warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience required </li><li>Forklift experience required (certification preferred) </li><li>Experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred </li><li>Ability to read packing slips and purchase orders </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills </li><li>Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for certain positions </li></ul>
