<p>Position Purpose</p> <p>The Area Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple retail branches, ensuring superior member experiences, driving business development efforts, and fostering leadership development for Retail Branch Managers. This role plays a key part in protecting and strengthening the REV brand, expanding market presence, and ensuring operational excellence across all assigned locations. A primary focus of this role is coaching leaders to transform service interactions into meaningful opportunities that drive financial growth for both the membership and the credit union.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Assumes responsibility for the growth and performance metrics of assigned branches:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement branch-specific strategies to optimize sales, service, and operational excellence. </li><li>Ensure branches are staffed appropriately, are well-trained, and are aligned with REV's strategic goals and member experience standards. </li><li>Oversee branch profitability, ensuring efficient operations while maximizing revenue opportunities. </li><li>Drive a consultative sales culture, equipping teams to transition service interaction into sales opportunities that benefit members. </li></ul> <p>Assumes responsibility for the leadership and people development within assigned branches:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and develop Retail Branch Managers to drive performance, engagement, and leadership growth. </li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous learning within each branch. </li><li>Champion REV DNA to unlock the potential of team members within areas of management. </li><li>Ensure effective cross training and development to grow bench strength and a leadership pipeline within branches to sustain long-term success. </li></ul> <p>Assumes responsibility for the member experience and operational excellence in assigned branches:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure branches deliver superior service experiences aligned with REV's brand and member expectations. </li><li>Establish and monitor performance metrics related to service delivery, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. </li><li>Support the execution of policies, procedures, and compliance standards to maintain risk management and operational integrity. </li></ul> <p>Assumes responsibility for the market presence and business development:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute market strategies that drive membership growth and brand awareness within assigned region. </li><li>Establish strong relationships with community organizations, businesses, and centers of influence to enhance REV's visibility. </li><li>Lead business development initiatives to generate new member relationships and deepen existing ones. </li><li>Identify and pursue external business opportunities that align with REV's growth objectives. </li></ul> <p>Assumes responsibility for financial and performance management:</p> <ul> <li>Drive the performance of the branches within management to meet and exceed sales, lending, and membership growth goals. </li><li>Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and member needs to identify business opportunities. </li><li>Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies that enhance financial performance while maintaining operational efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.</p> <p>Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proven track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams with a strong sales and service culture. </li><li>Strong business development and relationship management skills. </li><li>Deep understanding of retail banking operations, compliance, and service excellence. </li><li>Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to drive business results. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead multiple locations with consistency and alignment. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop actionable solutions. </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency in CRM systems, business analytics tools, and core banking systems. </li><li>Commitment to community engagement and building lasting external partnerships. </li></ul>
