<p>Job Title: LabVIEW Developer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This is a long-term opportunity to work on a team dedicated to developing LabVIEW software for custom test equipment. The role involves object-oriented programming and designing automated systems for the manufacturing testing of new product developments.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop LabVIEW software used on custom test equipment. </li><li>Design and develop automated systems for manufacturing testing. </li><li>Utilize LabVIEW programming in system and fixture development. </li><li>Select and implement appropriate sensors/transducers for measuring elements such as force, torque, current, and velocity. </li><li>Participate in LabVIEW code reviews. </li><li>Review and understand product function and design specifications thoroughly. </li><li>Provide project updates to engineering leadership regarding status, risks, and priorities. </li><li>Utilize programming languages such as LabVIEW, C++, C#, and PLCs. </li><li>Collaborate with test development, automation, data-acquisition, and fixture development teams. </li><li>Work with communication protocols, including IO-Link, Discrete IO, EtherCAT, EthernetIP, OPCUA, TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485, and CAN. </li><li>Engage in test and measurement techniques, including sensor technology, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and manufacturing testing. </li><li>Create LabVIEW programs from scratch that communicate with devices, databases, and equipment. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of recent experience creating LabVIEW programs from scratch. </li><li>Proficiency in LabVIEW programming and creating programs that communicate with multiple instruments and databases. </li><li>Strong understanding of test and measurement techniques, including sensor technology and signal conditioning. </li><li>Familiarity with programming languages such as LabVIEW, C++, C#, and PLCs. </li><li>Experience working with communication protocols such as IO-Link, Discrete IO, EtherCAT, EthernetIP, OPCUA, TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485, and CAN. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in schematic design is an advantage. </li><li>Ability to work independently and remotely. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment is fast-paced with growth opportunities and a great company culture.
