<p>Responsibilities for this Position</p> <p>Information Security Training Analyst</p> <p>US-CT-Groton</p> <p>Job ID: 2026-18704</p> <p>Type: Full-Time</p> <p># of Openings: 2</p> <p>Category: Security and Transportation</p> <p>EB Groton Shipyard</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>An individual is needed in the Electric Boat Industrial Security Organization who can take complex information and turn it into easily understandable content for end-users at EB. This individual would support the creation of structured training, security-related products and Job Aids for the Industrial Security Organization and other areas of the enterprise to support the Presidents Intent of having a well-trained workforce who will continue to be world-class shipbuilders ensuring Electric Boat maintains a competitive advantage.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop structured training for onboarding new hires locally and at off-sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide in-person support for training of Operations and off-site employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure current requirements of the following documents are accurate and up to date on all training:</p> </li><li> <p>Security Manuals</p> </li><li> <p>Electric Boat Policies and Procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Security Training</p> </li><li> <p>Newsletters</p> </li><li> <p>Bulletins</p> </li><li> <p>Job Aids</p> </li><li> <p>Security Documentations</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all mandatory training related to security is assigned and completed on time.</p> </li><li> <p>Take complex security regulatory information and turn it into easily understandable training content for end-users at EB.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Industrial Security Organization and other areas of the business in developing and maintaining security-related training products.</p> </li><li> <p>Define, maintain, and update security relevant terms and concepts in a detailed glossary and library of technical terms and records.</p> </li></ul> <p>Specific duties would include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Research technical security information/ requirements:</p> </li><li> <p>Based on law, regulation, policy and guidelines related to security operations</p> </li><li> <p>For the Industrial Security Organization and other areas of the business</p> </li><li> <p>Work cross-functionally with SMEs in Engineering, Design, Legal, Training, and IT groups to develop Security training.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop systematic writing approaches and assist in defining standards, style, and terminology for all training materials with Workforce Development.</p> </li><li> <p>Translate technical information into clear, concise, and effective training for both technical and non-technical audiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, update, edit, and proofread all written training materials that contain security related requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a detailed glossary and library of technical terms and records.</p> </li><li> <p>Integrate graphics/illustrations to improve documentation quality/usability.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all mandatory training related to security is assigned and completed on time.</p> </li></ul> <p>Successful candidates will:</p> <ul> <li>Be able to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment and have experience working on multi-functional teams. </li><li>Possess strong problem-solving skills, writing/presentation skills, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. </li><li>A flexible schedule and light travel may be required. </li><li>Assisting in company sponsored events as needed. </li><li>Support all Security related audits. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to use various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree or higher </li><li>3+ years of experience in an industrial environment with a working knowledge of the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program, OPNAV N9210.3, and other applicable guidance sources </li><li>US Citizenship and the ability to obtain Final DoD Secret security clearance. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with compliance methodologies, the EB Security Manual, and other applicable guidance sources </li><li>Experience administering security education and awareness training and conducting self-inspections </li><li>Experience with process improvement methodologies and practices </li><li>Experience with Derivative Classification </li><li>Experience with Program Management </li></ul>
