You'll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery.? You'll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market.??You will also be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Consultants and Senior Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans. By focusing on clients and engagements in the financial services industry, you'll partner with highly regulated clients and deepen your expertise in financial services regulations.</p> <p>What Will Help You Be Successful:</p> <ul> <li> <p>You enjoy identifying areas of business and process risk, and opportunities to improve efficiency, increase performance, and help clients manage risk.</p> </li><li> <p>You are motivated to learn and interested in all things related to internal audit and business processes, including the latest trends and developments.</p> </li><li> <p>You are passionate about building relationships with clients and providing exceptional experiences.</p> </li><li> <p>You have an inherent interest in project management and team leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>You promote a positive team culture that fosters open communication among all engagement team members.</p> </li><li> <p>You create development opportunities for others, including participating in the creation and rollout of training, and ways for your team to improve our clients and communities.</p> </li><li> <p>You have interest in participating in the preparation of client proposals and strategies to win new business.</p> </li><li> <p>You have interest in working with a diverse portfolio of clients across the financial services industry.</p> </li></ul> <p>Do Your Talents Include the Following?</p> <p>Demonstrated experience with:</p> <ul> <li>Conducting risk-based audits of trust accounts, fiduciary activities, and internal controls to ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations. </li></ul> <p>Ensuring adherence to applicable U.S. banking laws and trust-related regulations, including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>12 CFR Part 9 - Fiduciary Activities of National Banks</p> </li><li> <p>Regulation 9 (Reg 9) - Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) fiduciary standards</p> </li><li> <p>Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements related to trust accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Dodd-Frank Act provisions related to financial oversight and consumer protection</p> </li><li> <p>ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) for employee benefit trust accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Uniform Prudent Investor Act (UPIA) and Uniform Trust Code (UTC) for trust management best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Section 404 - Internal control compliance for publicly traded institutions</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls related to trust operations and fiduciary risk management.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducting financial and operational audits to ensure trust accounts are managed in accordance with fiduciary standards and accounting frameworks (GAAP, CIFRS, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Assessing financial reporting processes and validating compliance with CIFRS and other relevant accounting standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifying audit findings, regulatory compliance risks, and operational inefficiencies, and provide recommendations for corrective action.</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing detailed audit reports with clear and concise findings, recommendations, and risk assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring regulatory changes affecting trust operations and recommend necessary adjustments to internal policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting in the development and execution of the annual audit plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.</p> </li><li> <p>Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to translate and communicate risk topics and audit issues to client personnel, including executives.</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.</p> </li></ul> <p>Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, or business-related field).</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years working in trust auditing, consulting, or related field, either in professional services or within the financial services industry.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.</p> </li><li> <p>Professional Certification such as CIFRS, CIA, or similar strongly preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Hybrid Workplace</p> <p>Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.</p> <p>$100,000.00 - $160,000.00</p> <p>Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.</p> <p>12%</p> <p>The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.</p> <p>$112,000.00 - $179,200.00</p> <p>Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year.
