<p>Develop individualized treatments based on evidence-based assessment strategies and developing data sets to</p> <p>provide the most effective therapy for each individual child.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize a variety of assessment tools which may include the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and </li></ul> <p>Placement Program and Adaptive Behavior Assessment System, to write operationally defined goals</p> <p>and objectives.</p> <ul> <li>Treat problem behavior with a function-based approach, utilizing teaching procedures based in Applied </li></ul> <p>Behavior Analysis (ABA).</p> <ul> <li>Consistently and frequently analyze data on treatment goals and adjust teaching procedures and </li></ul> <p>intervention strategies according to data, collecting functional assessment data when appropriate.</p> <ul> <li>Involve the family in treatment by meeting with parents/guardians consistently providing consultations </li></ul> <p>and/or providing training sessions as needed and ensuring treatment plans include parent goals.</p> <ul> <li>Train staff and other professionals to implement ABA treatment plans. </li><li>Assess the patient's treatment needs and write detailed goals and objectives for each patient's </li></ul> <p>treatment plan so that progress may be tracked and measured.</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate the optimum behavior plan. </li><li>Oversee implementation of programming, data collection, and procedural fidelity of Registered </li></ul> <p>Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and complete reports and session/supervision notes. </li><li>Conduct appropriate assessments which may include ADOS and other specific assessments in a timely </li></ul> <p>manner.</p> <ul> <li>Create programming procedures and materials and complete all necessary documentation </li></ul> <p>requirements timely.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When </li></ul> <p>patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolved complaints. Recognize that patient</p> <p>safety is a top priority.</p> <p>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>11/3/2021</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Certification by the Behavior Analyst certification Board required. </li><li>Master's degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of </li></ul> <p>behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices.</p> <ul> <li>Three years' experience working with individuals who have autism spectrum disorders preferred. </li><li>Prior experience with ABA programming required. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Certification/Licensure as required by state. </li><li>CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by </li></ul> <p>facility).</p> <ul> <li>First aid may be required based on state or facility. </li></ul>
