<p>Shift Supervisor</p> <p>Looking for a 3rd shift supervisor! 11pm to 7:30am</p> <p>Resthaven offers you a place where you can belong, with peers who care as much as you do. Learn on the job. No matter your role, you'll be appreciated and welcomed here.</p> <p>Position Summary: The Resident Aide Shift Supervisor will be the primary point of contact to train new RA staff members, coordinate shift care and audits, and help develop a strong shift team for the entire facility.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Onboards new RA staff. </li><li>Follows through with new staff on 30 day/60 day/90-day touchpoints. </li><li>Assists in development and implementation of training assignments for new staff. </li><li>Manages, creates and adjusts RA assignments for each unit in collaboration with the Assistant Administrator and scheduler. </li><li>Schedule and conduct shift meetings routinely and as needed. </li><li>Implements and follows through with team building on assigned shift. </li><li>Follows through with completion of point of care documentation, assuring that it is complete for the shift. </li><li>Completes audits on care including weights, vitals, oral care and nail care completion. </li><li>Implements shower schedules for resident on assigned shift and ensures that these showers are completed. </li><li>Manages 360 care appointments assists with residents' schedules for 360 care appointments if on assigned shift. </li><li>Point of contact for supply requests and supply control on each unit. </li><li>Call light monitoring and follow through. </li><li>Works assignment on the floor based on facility need. </li><li>Collaborates with the Assistant Administrator for RA annual reviews. </li><li>Works with Assistant Administrator and Clinical Managers for educational needs of RAs. </li><li>Assists with scheduling and covering shifts. </li><li>Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends and holidays. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education, Training, Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li>1-2 years of experience in an assisted living facility. </li></ul> <p>Required Licenses, Registration, and/or Certifications: (may be provided as part of the job training)</p> <ul> <li>Dietary training for safe food handling. </li><li>Medication pass training. </li><li>Dementia training. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. </li><li>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. </li><li>Requests for reasonable accommodations may be made through Human Resources to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li></ul> <p>Resthaven's Mission Statement: To glorify God by providing a continuum of quality care and services that demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.</p>
