<p>Summary:</p> <p>The Program Specialist provides direct, non-therapeutic services for the Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP) and works closely with other program staff and/or volunteers.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Completes specific program assignments, including but not limited to:</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver program presentations to students, parents, and teachers in school and community-based settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with the development and updating of program materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with program related correspondence about activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes assigned program documentation accurately and on-time.</p> </li><li> <p>Delivers presentations both in-person and virtually.</p> </li><li> <p>Receives disclosures of child abuse or neglect and reports disclosures as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as required or assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all company policies and standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The position may require standing for more than an hour at a time.</p> <p>At times, staff must transport heavy portfolios and paperwork weighing as much as 50 pounds. The potential exists for highly stressful and emotionally-charged encounters with clients and/or family members.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Will require travel to schools, camps, other agencies/organizations. Programs are presented throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area, as well as, outlying areas, leading to substantial travel requirements that may exceed 50% of time.
