<p>Environment of Care (EOC) - Safety and Risk Coordinator</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt</p> <p>Job Location: Muskegon, MI</p> <p>Under the supervision of the Medical Operations Director, the?Environment of Care (EOC) Safety and Risk Coordinator supports the maintenance of Hackley Community Care (HCC) EOC and Safety programs, special projects, policies, and procedures to help ensure the organization complies with all regulatory and compliance standards as it pertained to organizational safety.</p> <p>The?EOC Safety and Risk Coordinator?provides cross functional assistance to all HCC departments in the co-creation, implementation, training, and enforcement of all EOC and Safety activities that improve overall operational efficiency and enhances patient and staff safety.</p> <p>The?EOC and Safety and Risk Coordinator coordinates the Environment of Care activities for the organization including co-facilitation of the EOC Committee and is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>In collaboration with the Infection Control Coordinator and Human Resources, the EOC and Safety Coordinator supports training and coordination of OSHA and other safety programs for HCC. </li><li>Works with vendors, site, and department leadership in coordinating preventative maintenance of HCC clinical equipment to meet state and federal requirements. </li><li>Collaborates with leadership and with the site and department leadership in developing, updating, and implementing emergency plans for HCC facilities. </li><li>Collaborates with leadership and with external entities from community, hospital etc. in the development of community-based emergency preparedness plans as needed. </li><li>This position interacts with leadership, providers, and staff to create a transparent, safety focused, and knowledgeable workforce in safety and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Benefits and Perks:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision insurances (after 30 days) </li><li>Disability and Life insurances </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Paid holidays </li><li>Quarterly bonuses </li><li>Retirement plan </li><li>Vendor discounts </li><li>Work, Life, Balance </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Associate level college degree in healthcare administration, clinical healthcare discipline, or public health, discipline or equal experience a plus but not required. </li><li>Three plus years of demonstrated experience working in the healthcare industry. </li><li>Shows work product that establishes the individual is self-directed with strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines consistently. </li><li>Highly developed communication skills in the form of written, spoken and presentation mediums. </li><li>Demonstrated experience of working within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Experience working at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred. </li></ul>
