<p>Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis has an opening for a full-time Communications faculty position in the School of Communications, in the College of Arts and Humanities. The position begins fall semester, 2026.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <p>Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the Broadcast Media Program, with an emphasis on teaching Video Storytelling & Production classes, and leading the Broadcast Media Program into its next chapter.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>A doctorate in Communications or a related discipline is preferred. A master's degree would be considered, especially if the candidate has significant experience in Broadcast Media and/or Video Production. Pay and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience, within the University's salary structure.</p> <p>An ability to teach a variety of courses across our Communications curriculum would be a plus. The School of Communications offers four majors: Journalism, Broadcast Media, Public Relations and Communications Studies. At the center of our program are students developing multi-media storytelling skills that lead to internships and jobs in multiple fields.</p> <p>A statement of faith which clearly articulates your view of scripture, salvation and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
