The ideal candidate will foster a student-centered, engaging, and standards-aligned learning environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan and implement high-quality instruction aligned to Kentucky Academic Standards and best teaching practices. </li><li>Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture that aligns with Old Mill Elementary's CREATE values. </li><li>Use data-driven instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. </li><li>Implement Project-Based Learning (PBL) strategies and integrate real-world learning experiences. </li><li>Engage students in meaningful learning experiences through hands-on activities, technology integration, and collaboration. </li><li>Establish strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support student growth. </li><li>Utilize the MTSS framework to address academic and behavioral needs. </li><li>Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to reflect on data, improve instructional practices, and collaborate with peers. </li><li>Maintain strong classroom management by setting clear expectations, reinforcing positive behaviors, and ensuring a safe learning environment. </li><li>Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administration to support student learning. </li><li>Contribute to school-wide initiatives, events, and professional development opportunities. </li></ul> <p>This position is for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2025-2026 school year.</p>
