Our extensive services span Pet Wellness and Prevention, Surgery, Urgent Care, Testing and Diagnostics, and Advanced Care. A defining feature of our practice is our depth in advanced medical services, including Reproduction work encompassing PennHIP evaluation and Semen Storage Accounts. This commitment to advanced procedures ensures that you have the tools and caseload diversity necessary to sharpen your skills and confidently provide the best possible outcomes for every patient.</p> <p>Pewee Valley Veterinary Center is rooted in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, a welcoming community where our team has served clients since 1971. We operate convenient hours Monday through Saturday, allowing you the predictable schedule needed to explore everything the region has to offer outside the clinic.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Your Impact as a Receptionist</p> <ul> <li>Be the Director of First Impressions: You'll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care. </li><li>Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently. </li><li>Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible. </li><li>Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring to the Team</p> <ul> <li>A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals. </li><li>Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction. </li><li>Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
