We are seeking Entry Level Transportation Planners interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects.</p> <p>The planners on our team work on a variety of tasks, from asset and fleet management plans to multi-modal corridor planning, helping agencies improve service plans, operations, and infrastructure. We are looking for team members to help us deliver a range of statewide and multi-modal transportation planning projects. You'll assist in the preparation of planning studies, alternative analyses, impact assessments and technical reports.</p> <p>The candidate will work under the direction of a project manager or senior planner.</p> <p>Pave the way for your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed - today and into tomorrow.</p> <p>Typical work tasks include:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the development and management of rail plans, feasibility studies, conceptual design documents, service development and planning for rail and transit projects. </li><li>Assist in data collection and analysis related to transit operations planning and ridership. </li><li>Participate in stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings and workshops. </li><li>Help prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. </li><li>Attend project meetings and assist in the facilitation of coordination with different teams, consultants, and clients. </li><li>Assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through preliminary engineering. </li><li>Provide support to planning staff members as needed. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in urban planning, policy, Geography, or a related field </li><li>Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent technical writing with the ability to develop work plans and document technical discussions </li><li>Experience with GIS </li><li>Ability to deal with large datasets, sort throughlarge amountsof data, and create visualizations </li><li>Course work related to transportation </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>58,656.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>85,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Eligible employees may also enroll in a deferred compensation plan or the Executive Deferral Plan. Employees in a modified full-time status will receive PTO based upon number of hours worked (allocated plans start ate 17 days per calendar year). And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.</p> <p>The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $85,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked.
