<p>FALL RIVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS</p> <p>POSITION: PARAPROFESSIONAL</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to relate well with students and other adults </li><li>Ability to assist in the instruction and supervision of students </li><li>NCLB Qualified (Associates Degree or Para Pro Test (Praxis) </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to relate well with students and other adults </li><li>To be generally responsible to the curriculum supervisor </li><li>To participate in staff development workshops, training sessions, meetings, and/or other activities organized by the curriculum supervisor, or the program director </li><li>To be directly responsible to the teacher for activities related to instruction and program implementation </li><li>To assist and work under the supervision of the teacher in: </li><li>Providing individualized instructional services </li><li>Preparing instructional materials </li><li>Organizing instructional areas </li><li>To be responsible to school principals for non-instructional duties that fall within guidelines </li><li>To participate in program evaluations and needs assessment procedures </li></ul> <p>SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Fall River Paraprofessionals contract. Employment is contingent upon job performance, program needs, and funding.
