<p>Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Technical Project Manager responsible for managing, planning and executing tactical and strategic projects within Technology. The Technical Project Manager will bring a value-driven mindset and focus on solving problems and delivering value as well as influencing a culture of change and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage, plan, and execute tactical and strategic technology projects, with a particular focus on software development initiatives </li><li>Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring adherence to defined scope, budget, and timelines </li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and documentation </li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication </li><li>Identify, assess, and manage potential project risks, dependencies, and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans </li><li>Drive and enforce quality standards throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with technical requirements and business objectives </li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, status reports, risk registers, KPIs, and meeting notes </li><li>Provide regular progress updates and executive summaries to senior leadership </li><li>Demonstrate strong understanding and application of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to set, measure, and align project goals with organizational priorities* Bachelor's degree in the areas of IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred </li><li>PMO, PMP, CEC and/or Six Sigma Project Management certification preferred </li><li>5+ years of Technical Project Management relevant work experience </li><li>Value-drive project management orientation </li><li>Well-versed in Jira & Confluence </li><li>Experience managing operating budgets and/or project financials </li><li>Ability to navigate highly complex projects with multiple cross-collaboration partners </li><li>Experience managing projects with globally distributed teams, including effective collaboration across cultures and time zones </li><li>Financial services industry experience a plus but not required </li></ul>
