<p>WFRV Local 5 is looking for an innovative, creative, and reliable, person to fill the position of Digital Streaming Producer/Host/Reporter.</p> <p>This role is unique and will involve crafting solid, journalistically sound storytelling to engage our audiences across our website, apps, social media channels, and our CTV channel.</p> <p>We are looking for a content creator willing to produce stories/segments and host one or more live digital productions to expand our audiences.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Produce, edit video content using OBS Studio and other tools</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all content meets high standards of journalistic integrity and production quality</p> </li><li> <p>Research and analyze details to provide complete, accurate stories</p> </li><li> <p>Host CTV shows from our streaming studio</p> </li><li> <p>Arrange interviews with people for exclusive CTV shows when needed</p> </li><li> <p>Produces and presents reports on all platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Launch creative, compelling daily content for viewers on mobile, desktop, and connected TV</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to self-direct a show through OBS Studio</p> </li><li> <p>Set up and coordinate guests for in-studio or remote appearances</p> </li><li> <p>Plan content for each day</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule connected television app programming by crafting blocks of engaging content</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor social media accounts and post content on our social channels</p> </li><li> <p>Keep up to date with local, state, national, and world news</p> </li><li> <p>Write, edits stories for the web and other digital platforms/channels</p> </li><li> <p>Other projects and duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements/kills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of WordPress, OBS/vMix, Akta or similar digital content management systems</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with SEO and social media content strategies</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent editorial judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong writing and editorial ability</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to adjust schedule based on major and breaking news events</p> </li></ul> <p>WFRV and Nexstar Media Inc. is an equal opportunity employer</p>
