<p>Mainframe MQ Admin</p> <ul> <li>Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting. </li><li>Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS. </li><li>Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement </li><li>Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc . </li><li>Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup, deleting a particular records etc..) </li><li>Maintain and adopt the new pagesets & bufferpool according to the application growth in MQ </li><li>Knowledge on the MQ queue sharing and MQ clustering to handle the queue managers and its components. </li><li>Strong knowledge on MQ queue manager creation/migration and daily health check and dead letter queue process automation </li><li>Good understanding of messaging interfaces and connections to the IBM other products (such as CICS, DB2, IMS..) and third party application servers. </li><li>Perform MQ online monitoring, investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyze </li><li>Nice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms. </li><li>Nice to have knowledge Mainrame zOS, JCL, VSAM, ISPF and COBOL. </li><li>IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems, SW downloads, Escalations </li><li>Provide 24x7 after hours on-call support as required for products supported by the team </li></ul> <p>Salary Range- $100,000-$120,000 a year</p> <p>#LI-SP3</p> <p>#LI-VX1</p>
