<p>Department: Oral Surgery</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time days: Monday - Friday</p> <p>Location: Detroit, MI</p> <p>Assists the oral surgeon during medical procedures.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists in preparation and set-up of for surgical procedures in the office and hospital operating rooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors patients and assists with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures in hospital and outpatient office settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Discusses post-operative instructions for care and management with the patient.</p> </li><li> <p>Relays post-operative complications/questions to surgeon.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains surgical equipment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p> <p>Preferred Credentials:</p> <ul> <li>Dental Anest Asst Natl Cert credentialed from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons </li><li>Dental Assistant credentialed from the Michigan Board of Dentistry </li><li>BLS Provider preferred.
