These tasks include development of capital budgets, project authorization, project and construction schedules, and project variance and forecast reporting on capital maintenance projects. Coordinate activities of Controls Specialist. Interface with station management and other departments to assure effective control and reporting of construction and maintenance project costs, scheduling, and budgeting. Provide expertise in developing of station capital budget and five year forecast. Ensure closing out and maintenance of project authorizations. Assign projects to employees and track the completion of each assignment.</p> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience</p> <p>The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of finance and accounting experience, including a minimum of two years in a leadership role preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with processes required to implement physical modifications to the facility. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong personal computer skills including Maximo, SAP, DocTop, Microsoft Office Suite, Plant Access Management System (PAMS), P3e Scheduling Tool. </li><li>Familiarity with creating and processing schedules using Primavera Project Planner software. </li><li>Lead personnel to safely and efficiently execute work. </li><li>Demonstrates high level of ownership for their responsibilities, persists through adversity and follows through with commitments. </li><li>Acts with bias for action to challenge and correct behaviors and promote high standards of performance. </li><li>Demonstrates high level integrity, safety, professionalism and appropriate behavior driven results. </li><li>Proactively communicates information and decisions to personnel and station leaders in a manner that is honest, direct and meaningful. </li><li>Maintains appropriate oversight of his/her personnel and team members and acts promptly to provide direction when necessary. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of topics and be sufficiently involved to ensure all work items under their area of responsibility are produced with the highest degree of quality including technical accuracy. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:</p> <p>Bachelor</p> <p>Preferred Disciplines: Construction Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration</p> <p>Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above</p> <p>Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>Office Work Environment 76 -100%</p> <p>Travel Up to 25%</p> <p>Other Working Conditions</p> <p>Test Description</p> <p>No Testing Required</p> <p>Export Control</p> <p>Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
