Make sure that the business model and intercompany interactions are sound and supportive of the optimal business practices. Play an important role in supporting future plans development, optimization of cash repartiation and adherence to the intercompany agreements. Guide global treasury on cash requirements for the USA business, with the goal of predictability and optimization of funding. Serve as an expert on controls environment and business ethics. Educate the business and monitor compliance to policies and controls requirements. What will you do - responsibilities: JTI Liggett business model governancea. Lead walkthroughs for all US entitiesc. Educate the business on controlsd. Lead internal audit interactions with the global team as needede. Lead Enterprise Risk Management cycles to ensure that the relevant risks are identified and managedf. Coordinate inventory counts as required by the control environmentg. Maintain correct signatories with Citibank as per entity governance documentsLocal and global policy compliancea. Regularly review local policies with the goal of balancing successful business practices with risk management measuresb. Educate employees on interpretation and application of local policiesc. Monitor the adherence to the policies; Support functions in development of business proposals (BAP/Memo system)a. Identify initiatives needing approval, work with initiating functions on narratives and questionnairesb. Align proposals with the Regional team, global BAP team, local management; Entity and cash forecastinga. Work with the Finance Planning and Analysis Manager to forecast entity P&L and balance sheets for regular planning cyclesb. Develop and submit bi-weekly cash forecasts for the Global Treasur Ensure adherence to the ethical standards and best practices of the controls environmenta. Stay on top of changes in standards and global ESG trendsb. Participate in global compliance projects; Who?are we looking for - requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting designation;Auditor background combined with hand-on accounting skills OR experience working in a company with complex entity structure. 3-5 years in a similar position;English (fluent);Communication skills, organizational skills, time management, leadership.
