Answers questions from visitors regarding location of shelters, activities in the park and fees associated with programs or activities. </li><li>Operate cash register, credit card machine, reconcile monies, and complete required paperwork. </li><li>Communicate with park ranger or supervisors regarding programs, problems, and supply needs. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Must be at least 15 years of age and be enrolled in high school or possess a high school diploma or GED.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.</p> <p>Must have adequate transportation to commute to and from work site.</p> <p>Must be able to establish and maintain courteous and effective public relations.</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <p>The use of multi-lined phones is preferred.</p> <p>Experience with cash registers and credit card machines preferred.</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Incumbent performs duties involving varying weather conditions, sitting/standing for long periods, sitting/walking at will, pushing/pulling objects, bending, reaching, crouching/kneeling, close/far vision, color depth perception, hearing sounds/communication, speaking clearly, handling/grasping objects. Incumbent maintains considerable contact with the public and may be exposed to irate/difficult persons.</p>
