However it cannot be deemed to be exhaustive and other ad hoc duties (within the capabilities of</p> <p>the incumbent) may be required.</p> <p>1- Health and Safety</p> <ul> <li> <p>Respects all site safety rules, general and specifics.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively involved in safety issues on site and undertakes regular safety observations</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance with Imerys Safety Responsibilities standard & Imerys Serious 7</p> </li><li> <p>Completes a Take 5 before starting tasks : Does not start a task, or stops on-going tasks if the employee feels that the situation is unsafe. When possible the employee takes the necessary actions to make the task safe</p> </li><li> <p>Know and understand the risk assessment , Safe Methods of Work, ESP's related to each task.</p> </li><li> <p>Know and understand site emergency procedure</p> </li><li> <p>Reporting of Incidents/Accidents promptly and in line with IML Protocols</p> </li></ul> <p>2- Standard Duties</p> <p>Liaises with shift supervisor on work schedule and instructions</p> <p>Inspects and reports any issues on equipment</p> <p>Operates IBC machines and associated equipment</p> <p>Operates bagging machine and associated equipment</p> <p>Operates the wedges for refeed and recycle activities</p> <p>Operates the polarite plant (when trained)</p> <p>Does a pre-shift inspection of mobile plant (i.e forklift)</p> <p>Moves goods and skips by forklift or using other plant equipment (if trained)</p> <p>Moves finished goods from production lines, placing them in the required area.</p> <p>Re-stacks reject pallets and keeps record of recycled quantity, rates, quality</p> <p>Knows the relevant Internal Product Specification and packaging.</p> <p>Understands product quality and customer centricity value</p> <p>Complies to sampling procedure when taking samples</p> <p>Tests of periodic samples according to quality control procedures (when trained)</p> <p>Ensures the production line has all necessary consumables to run (palettes, bags…)</p> <p>Maintains a clean safe work area with a high standard on housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness.
