General knowledge in nursing practice required. Able to analyze, develop, implement, evaluate and revise classes, clinical experiences and curricula. Computer literacy preferred on hire and required to maintain the position. </li><li>Models and supports patient/client advocacy, respect and confidentiality. Upholds these traits in self, students and others during all patient/client interactions. </li><li>Problems are solved by organization, review, and proper selection of standard procedures. Creative problem solving and high level of autonomy required. </li><li>Organizes and prioritizes activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Supports the implementation of the curricular and department goals. Responds to change with flexibility. </li><li>Demonstrates clinical knowledge, teaching ability, and effective communication skills. </li></ul> <p>A qualified candidate would have:</p> <ul> <li>BSN required, MSN preferred </li><li>5+ years nursing experience </li><li>Valid NYS Nursing License </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $27.55 - $44.09 for exp based Benefit FTE positions</p> <p>FLAT rate $50.00hr for per diem - subject to change</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
