We specialize in delivering engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across diverse industries.</p> <p>Our mission is simple: Deliver a Quality Product, On Time, at a Competitive Price.</p> <p>We are committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>We are seeking a Pack & Scan-production to join our team for Facility in Warren, MI.</p> <p>The primary function of the Pack & Scan-Production position is to ensure the Work Centers and Assembly Areas continue to run without interruption by bringing appropriate packaging to the molding area and moves finished parts from the molding area and places them in the Pack & Scan area.</p> <p>Schedule: Shift A</p> <p>Week1: Monday till Wednesday: 6am -12:15pm / Thursday & Friday: 6:00am -6:15 pm/ Saturday & Sunday: Off</p> <p>Week2: Monday till Wednesday: 6:00am -12:15 pm / Thursday & Friday: Off/ Saturday &Sunday: 6:00am-6:15pm</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Assisting the Shift Supervisor with setup of Work Centers/Assembly Areas by bringing all necessary hardware and packaging to the Work Centers/Assembly Areas prior to start up. </li><li>To ensure efficiency at all Work Centers and Assembly areas by pulling completed products from work centers and move to pack & scan area where they can be properly banded and/or dispositioned in the warehouse. </li><li>Ensuring proper labeling and scanning coming from Production prior to delivery to the Warehouse. </li><li>Follow all processes and make recommendations for improvement. </li><li>Review operation process to ensure continuous cost improvement. </li><li>Interact with your counterpart working in the operations, to ensure all other positions (process engineer, material handler, operator, etc.) to ensure the efficient use of people during the manufacturing process. </li><li>Lean Manufacturing. 5S and Workplace organization (standardized work centers) process. </li><li>As a forklift driver this position is responsible for ensuring all items moved must be put in the proper location and square to the building. </li></ul> <p>Assist with the maintenance of a clean and organized and safe work area</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing environment operating a forklift, utilization of scanner equipment including handling of WIP, Finished Goods and shipping responsibilities. </li><li>A self-starter with a history of showing initiative in getting things done and anticipating what needs to get done. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Proven communicational skills, both written and oral. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 50 lbs. </li><li>Ability to be trained to operate a forklift. </li></ul> <p>Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience with production part retrieval/lot number verification. </li><li>Experience with cycle counts/inventory </li><li>History of accurately documenting (or scanning) WIP and Finished goods in/out of inventory. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Proven ability to work with others to accomplish goals. </li><li>Knowledge of basic mathematics and the ability to apply it in a work situation. </li></ul>
