<p>Instrumentation Coordinator is responsible for the instrumentation and troubleshooting of a highly automated state of the art system that produces distinctive high-quality ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage, and other industries.</p> <p>Main Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, layout, and supervise diversified installation, maintenance, and repair operations in their respective area of responsibility to maintain the physical plant, machinery, equipment, and auxiliaries in proper operating condition. </li><li>Utilize drawings, P&IDs, sketches, diagrams, and manuals to procure parts and plan work orders to implement maintenance activities. </li><li>Supervise the troubleshooting, adjustment, installation or repair physical assets included but not limited to: discrete & analog control valves, HART communicators, motor control circuits, 4-20mA instrumentation control loops, transmitters (level, pressure, flow, temp, etc.), Allen Bradley ContolLogix systems, Allen Bradley Powerflex VFD's, Allen Bradley SMC Flex Soft Start motor controllers' instrumentation, PLC logic, etc. </li><li>Ensure the proper training and use of measuring and testing equipment of the Instrumentation Techs. </li><li>Provide instructions to the oncoming team through verbal and written communication (Game Plan). </li><li>Safely perform all required duties. Includes but not limited to, performing safety audits, monthly training topics, and daily safety messages. </li><li>Maintain a clean work environment per established Good Manufacturing Practices. </li><li>Required to learn all aspects of Technical Process Operation via a progressive training program and demonstrate proficiency. </li><li>Train & coordinate additional training for Instrumentation Techs. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures </li><li>Lead daily safety toolbox talks, promote safe work practices, and foster a strong safety culture </li><li>Plan and actively communicate daily maintenance functions and shutdown work flow </li><li>Assign labor for planned and breakdown repairs; schedule overtime as needed </li><li>Required to requisition material, labor, and tools as needed while maintaining budget </li><li>Manage contractor and vendor resources as required </li><li>Be available for after-hours breakdown calls </li><li>Provide daily communications with a wide range of plant personnel. </li><li>Partner with Reliability team to continually move towards proactive maintenance work </li><li>Work in and maintain the SAP maintenance work order system </li><li>Other duties as assigned by departmental manager. </li></ul> <p>Tate & Lyle complies with all local/state regulations requiring salary range transparency.</p> <p>When determining final compensation, we take into consideration: skillset, job scope, knowledge, prior experience, cost of living, market data, budget availability, and other factors as permitted by law.</p> <p>Starting pay for this position: $78,622.31-$117,933.47 USD Annual</p> <p>In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision coverages </li><li>Paid time off package, including vacation, sick time, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave </li><li>401K with company match </li><li>Company paid life insurance </li><li>Additional benefits at not cost to employee such as: Lifestyle Spending Account, Identity Theft Protection, Employee Assistance Program, telemedicine and more! </li></ul> <p>In addition to your Total Rewards, culture and ED&I are very important to Tate & Lyle. The applied technology requires basic principles in four areas of technology, electricity, mechanics, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics. With a focus on reasoning, not math, solve problems without calculations or formulas.</p> <p>Skills and experiences required.</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent </li><li>Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Outlook e-mail. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively written and verbal comprehension </li><li>5 years industrial maintenance (Instrumentation) experience </li><li>Prior supervision experience </li><li>Experience working on instrumentation, valves, PLC's, VFD's, & troubleshooting issues </li><li>Must be well-organized, attentive to detail, and efficient. </li><li>Able to demonstrate competencies in graphic literacy, teamwork, workplace observations, locating information, and applied technology. </li></ul> <p>Desired skills:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with SAP maintenance database </li><li>Experience with facilities maintenance, preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred. </li><li>3+ years of chemical or industrial manufacturing experience preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of valves, transmitters, instrumentation, PLC's, VFD's, etc preferred </li></ul> <p>California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA")</p> <p>The Company is committed to complying with the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and all data privacy and laws in the jurisdictions in which it recruits and hires employees.
