If so, this could be the career move that you have been looking for!</p> <p>This role is primarily responsible for ensuring that daily tasks related to loan accounting and payment processing are completed in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing and posting daily payments, reconciling to cash accounts, initiating corporate advances, processing NSF payments, monitoring escrow accounts, reporting and remitting payments, and provide customer service.</p> <p>In this job, you will:</p> <p>All job duties may or may not be performed by all job incumbents, may vary dependent on assigned department.</p> <ul> <li>Process and post all daily payments. </li><li>Reconcile to cash account. </li><li>Initiate corporate advances. </li><li>Process NSF payments. </li><li>Produce and review daily reports. </li><li>Generate letters and/or documents for customers. </li><li>Monitor escrow accounts (e.g. manage disbursements of taxes/insurance/PMI, perform annual escrow account analysis, pay escrow account interest, monitor rates and perform necessary research). </li><li>Reports and remits payments to investors. </li><li>Answer customer service inquiries. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need to be considered:</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Required - Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent training and work experience.</p> <p>Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Required - 1-2 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, Customer Service, or related field.</p> <p>Preferred - 3-5 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, Customer Service, or related field.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of basic accounting principles. </li><li>Knowledge of escrow accounts. </li><li>Data entry skills. </li><li>Exceptional Customer Service Skills </li><li>Analytical and problem solving skills. </li><li>Ability to learn and understand basic investor guidelines and legal requirements. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. </li><li>Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers. </li><li>Time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. </li><li>Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization. </li><li>Consistently exhibit qualities that are in line with company philosophies. </li></ul> <p>Here's additional information you need to know:</p> <p>Physical Demands & Requirements</p> <p>Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.</p> <p>Ability to stand or sit constantly/continuously.</p> <p>Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.</p> <p>The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.</p> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <p>The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment.</p> <p>The expected base pay range for this role is:</p> <p>$19.58 - $26.86</p> <p>Actual pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including work location, job-related knowledge, skills and relevant experience for the job.
