Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked.</p> <p>Symrise - always inspiring more...</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Fill-up Sample Lab requests with a fast turnaround time for internal/external customers in a fast paced environment. </li><li>Assist in maintaining sample lab stocks, both flavors and raw materials </li><li>Maintains proficiency in laboratory and production procedures including the use of SAP, CX, Lotus Notes and SRMS. </li><li>Complies with all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety rules and regulations including HACCP and SQF. </li><li>Assist in picking materials form the warehouse and production floor for higher level technicians and sample order requests. This may include operating forklifts to retrieve materials from the warehouse when needed. </li><li>Perform general housekeeping consistent with maintaining a safe and clean environment for the sample lab and all communal areas. </li><li>Responsible for informing the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager of food safety problems, in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education. </li><li>1-3 years of experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment. </li><li>Experience in flavor and fragrance manufacturing is a plus. </li><li>Experience driving sit down and stand-up forklifts. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Strong math skills. </li><li>Conscientious and dedicated to the work. </li><li>Organized and thorough. </li><li>Self-Motivated. </li></ul> <p>Become part of our open and transparent culture. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
