<p>The UX Designer at Verisk's Property Estimating Solutions business will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences. This position involves collaborating with various teams to identify and execute design solutions and advocating for best practices in design and engineering. The designer will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that differentiate the company's products while also mentoring and guiding other designers. This role is based in our Lehi, UT office which has a flexible hybrid work model.</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with customers, product, R&D, and engineering to identify, plan, scope, and execute design solutions end to end. </li><li>Lead high-profile and high-impact design projects as assigned by leadership. </li><li>Advocate for design and engineering best practices to deliver modern and performant experiences. </li><li>Identify unique opportunities across Property Estimating Solutions products to create memorable and ownable experiences. </li><li>Invent design solutions to new problems, driving clarity and excitement with senior leaders. </li><li>Work autonomously and think strategically to identify areas of opportunity. </li><li>Serve as a role model and support for other designers. </li><li>Complete all responsibilities and projects as assigned. </li><li>3+ years UX experience designing consumer-facing applications, websites, and mobile experiences. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in a comparable discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Exceptional skills in ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows, mapping, and information architecture. </li><li>Experience planning and executing effective customer research, solo or in partnership with a UX Researcher. </li><li>Mastery of standard interactive design tools and processes, including Figma, Sketch, InVision, Miro, Lucid, and Design Thinking. </li><li>Mastery of information architecture, information design, interaction design, and multi-step and cross-platform flows. </li><li>Clear understanding of the capabilities and limitations of web, mobile, and desktop application development technologies. </li><li>Experience designing reusable UX components or libraries. </li><li>Ability to meet tight deadlines in an agile, fast-moving environment while enhancing product quality and experience. </li><li>Uses quantitative and qualitative data to drive design. </li><li>Self-starter that leads projects, products, and team members by example. </li><li>Deep and committed user empathy. </li></ul> <p>#LI-LM03</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
