With our network of more than 80 manufacturing facilities and more than 4,000 employees, we're leading the industry with innovation and a safety-first mindset.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties, completing transportation paperwork, data entry and invoicing orders. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of efficiency in load capacity, maintaining compliance in DOT weights/measure, and quality control for final loads for customer delivery.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Proactively work to ensure on-time order delivery by reviewing open customer orders and planning for items needed to meet daily and weekly shipments for plants </li><li>Send plants pick tickets for in-stock items, create work orders for secondary manufacturing, and invoice orders for inventory transfers </li><li>Ensures accuracy and completeness of shipping information, product counts, and item specifications </li><li>Assign shipping carriers to cover outbound shipments </li><li>Provides plants with shipping orders to ensure the accurate and efficient transfer of finished product to the shipping area </li><li>Serves as a liaison between Customer Service, Technical Service, and delivery personnel </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred, or at least 5 years experience in logistics or customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Working in ERP/TMS Systems and Microsoft Office software</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>The hourly pay rate is $19-$24/hr </li><li>Bonus opportunity </li><li>401(k) plan / group retirement savings program </li><li>Short-term and long-term disability benefits </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Paid holidays </li></ul> <p>What CRH Offers You</p> <ul> <li>Highly competitive base pay </li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs </li><li>Group retirement savings program </li><li>Health and wellness programs </li><li>An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion </li></ul> <p>About CRH</p> <p>CRH has a long and proud heritage.
