<p>The Regional Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple locations within a region, including the safety and efficiency of the staff, equipment, and processes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple shop locations by working with the Shop Foreman </li><li>Function as a liaison between the shop and outside departments. </li><li>Oversee, monitor, and inspect all equipment repairs to ensure best practices, policies and safety regulations are followed and repairs are completed promptly. </li><li>Oversee the training, development, and performance of Shop Foreman. </li><li>Provide guidance and direction to the shop foreman. </li><li>Encourage skills development among team members and shop foreman. </li><li>Determine schedules, sequences and assignment for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skills of technician. </li><li>Collaborate with Shop Foreman to ensure equipment repairs and in and out of service repairs are processed in a timely manner </li><li>Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures. </li><li>Implement and enforce shop policies and procedures. </li><li>Document warranty information for warranty repairs </li><li>Perform team member evaluations. </li><li>Perform repairs and preventative maintenance services on class 8 equipment. </li><li>Maintain documentation of all work performed on repair orders. </li><li>Perform Department of Transport Truck inspections and safety system checks. </li><li>Troubleshoot, Inspect, Test, Diagnose, Repair, and Replace all systems and components as needed to ensure compliance of all safety regulations for equipment. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>In Depth knowledge of Class 8 tractor maintenance processes </li><li>Basic computer skills and knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook) </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ability to lead and manage team members. </li><li>Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write the English language. </li><li>Ability Lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams proficiently. </li><li>Proficient with computer diagnostics </li><li>Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment as needed. </li><li>In depth knowledge of Class 8 tractor maintenance processes </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong leadership skills </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent?required </li><li>Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred </li><li>Min 2 years Diesel Mechanic/Technician exp preferred. </li><li>4+ Years Shop Management experience </li><li>4+ years Leadership experience </li></ul> <p>Competitive Compensation</p> <p>We believe in rewarding excellence.
