<p>Join a mission-driven organization as a Senior Accountant based in the West Loop. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to step into a hands-on role with strong visibility, contributing to impactful work within a collaborative team environment.</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Position Type: Temp to Hire</p> </li><li> <p>Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr.</p> </li><li> <p>Salary Upon Conversion: $75K-$90K</p> </li><li> <p>Worksite: Fully Onsite (West Loop)</p> </li><li> <p>Target Start Date: Mid to Late May</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and support monthly close processes</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and review daily bank reconciliations</p> </li><li> <p>Generate and analyze accurate financial statements</p> </li><li> <p>Perform month-end allocations and expense analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Lead annual audit process, including audit schedules and coordination with external auditors</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with auditors and provide necessary documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Support forecasting and projections with historical financial data</p> </li><li> <p>Handle general accounting responsibilities and ad hoc projects</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of professional accounting experience</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced Excel skills required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with ERP systems (Financial Edge is a plus)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
