Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Powertrain.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Scope of Position</p> <ul> <li>Manages the overall control and movement of materials in and out of plants. Directs and administers some or all the following: communication when purchasing needs involved, production scheduling and control, inventory and warehouse stock control, warehousing, customer sales order entry, customer service, traffic and shipping. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>10 years experience in a production environment </li><li>Minimum of five years of supervision and scheduling experience </li><li>Must be computer literate, with very strong computer skills </li><li>Must be organized </li><li>Ability to work with others in a team environment </li></ul> <p>Job Specific Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for overseeing the Production Control department. </li><li>Coordinate with shipping/receiving team all inbound/outbound shipments are supported for production requirements. </li><li>Review weekly customer releases, analyze balance to build conditions </li><li>Reviews daily with planning team suppliers on time and past due deliveries </li><li>Based upon customer releases and inventories on hand, works with planning team and production team to set schedule considering capacities and manpower requirements </li><li>Works with Quality Control on any issues with defective material, Production Control relative to any late deliveries and coordinates all vendor returns. </li><li>Monitors daily plant production, ensuring all customers schedules are being met </li><li>Reviews all inventory cycle counts and investigates any significant variances. </li><li>Coordinates and manages physical inventories. </li><li>Ensures full compliance with all MAFACT, Q1 and MMOGLE requirements </li><li>Ensure all legislative requirements of OSHA are met. </li><li>Additional duties as assigned by Management. </li><li>Goal setting and department KMI'S </li></ul> <p>Global Leadership Competencies</p> <p>Leading Teams</p> <ul> <li>Think Strategically: Identifies and handles strategic issues. </li><li>Act Decisively: Make decisions in vague situations. </li><li>Champion Change: Enables organization and culture change. </li><li>Lead the Team: Build strong teams. </li><li>Inspire Others: Fosters engagement within and across teams. </li><li>Think Top and Bottom Line - Understanding the Business: Leverages business sector opportunities and market dynamics to execute Magna strategy. </li><li>Prioritize Achievement: Help others meet and exceed standards and achieve results. </li><li>Be Agile and Adapt: Guides others to prepare for and respond to changes, while adapting to varied needs. </li></ul> <p>Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:</p> <p>At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
