<p>As the Store Manager, you will oversee an assigned store ensuring stores are operating in accordance with company and property standards day to day.</p> <p>Location: Bradley International Airport</p> <p>Schedule: Mandatory weekend availability</p> <p>Pay: $50,000 Annually</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance </li><li>Free Life Insurance </li><li>Short- & Long-Term Disability Insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>401k with company match </li><li>Employee Discount </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as an appropriate role model to all sales staff through: Effective sales techniques, positive communication, demonstrating flexibility and initiative, etc. </li><li>Open and close store. </li><li>Store Manager will create an "Effective Sales Team" as evidenced by: motivated and knowledgeable sales staff, sales floor is adequately covered, etc. </li><li>Performance management and coaching of departmental staff </li><li>Oversee the operation of store and has clear business knowledge of profit, sales training, merchandise, inventory, expense control, HR management, operating cost, and shrinkage. </li><li>Maintains well documented financial controls and accountability. </li><li>Provides for direct and open communication to all staff and District Manager/Regional Manager </li><li>Establish and maintain Guest Services through WE$ACT </li><li>Establish and build relationships with respective properties. </li><li>Communicates with manager/buyers regarding fit, popularity, etc., of merchandise </li><li>Assists with inventory, checking in, and transfers of merchandise </li><li>Must have complete knowledge of the store's stock; stock varies by store location </li><li>Other duties may be assigned </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in a lead or management role in a fast-paced retail environment OR in retail training </li><li>Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system. </li><li>Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store. </li><li>Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. </li><li>Organized, detail oriented, and strong time management skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and people skills </li><li>Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach </li><li>Proven communication skills • Ability to multi task and problem solve </li><li>Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel.
