We want your knowledge and expertise!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>As a Patient Care Technician you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and connection to those who need it most - and helps make our mission to improve lives a reality for patients every day.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery </li><li>Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices </li><li>Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency </li><li>Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control </li><li>Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited school for paramedics or completion of Emergency Technician program </li><li>Current Florida License as Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician. </li><li>Current BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association. </li><li>Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association. </li><li>Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association; or agreement to obtain by completion of 6 months of employment. </li><li>Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course with a minimum of 16 hours of didactic instruction preferred. </li><li>Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date </li></ul> <p>No Travel Required</p> <p>1 years experience Required Years of Experience</p> <p>Founded in 1974, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care hospital.
