<p>Job#: 3024964</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Title: Junior Vendor Management Consultant/Recruiter</p> <p>Location: Greenwood Village, CO - Hybrid 4x</p> <p>Duration: 8+ month contract with likelihood to extend/convert</p> <p>Pay: $25-33/hr</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Vendor Management Consultant supports the daily operations of the company's Contingent Labor Program, working closely with hiring managers, external staffing suppliers, and internal HR partners to ensure smooth workforce processes. This junior-level role is ideal for early-career professionals with experience in HR, recruiting, staffing agencies, or workforce operations who are looking to grow into vendor management, program administration, or talent coordination. The consultant helps maintain compliance, ensures strong communication flow, and supports the operational accuracy of all contingent worker activities.</p> <p>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with onboarding, offboarding, extensions, and assignment tracking for contingent workers. </li><li>Maintain accurate worker and supplier records within the Vendor Management System (VMS), ensuring data integrity and timely updates. </li><li>Reach out to hiring managers to introduce yourself as a program partner and guide them through VMS workflows, required approvals, and process best practices. </li><li>Monitor compliance documentation, ensuring required forms and verifications are completed on time. </li><li>Support reporting needs by tracking metrics, compiling data, and preparing summary updates for leadership or program partners. </li><li>Communicate regularly with suppliers, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the contingent labor process. </li><li>Troubleshoot basic system, workflow, or policy issues, escalating complex situations when needed. </li><li>Participate in process improvement initiatives, helping identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance program efficiency. </li><li>Ensure adherence to policies while maintaining the flexibility to adjust to program nuances and case-by-case needs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, staffing agency operations, or workforce management. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume tasks and maintain accurate records. </li><li>Confident communicator who can interact professionally with hiring managers and senior stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to enforce policies while also adapting to situational program variations. </li><li>High attention to detail and comfort working in structured, process-driven environments. </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-Haves:</p> <ul> <li>Experience using an ATS, HRIS, or VMS system. </li><li>Background supporting contingent workforce programs or vendor relationships. </li><li>Prior experience coordinating with external staffing suppliers or multiple business units. </li></ul> <p>Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
