<p>Pay:</p> <p>$41,600 - $72,800 a year</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>We currently have an opening for a Fleet Truck Mechanic.</p> <p>Duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Performs assigned DOT inspections, preventative maintenance services and repairs on company equipment. </li><li>Observes and repairs minor discrepancies. </li><li>Completing basis electrical repairs. </li><li>Complete troubleshoot air brake system repairs. </li><li>Install tires and wheels. </li><li>Reports observed major discrepancies to supervisor and corrects as instructed. </li><li>Documents all corrective action performed on job repair orders. </li><li>Maintains safe, clean, orderly work areas. </li><li>Performs assigned maintenance and repairs on yard equipment and shop tools. </li><li>Uses best and or safe practices while performing assigned duties. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, it is preferred individuals have:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required, and/or some college education. </li><li>Previous working experience within a shop as a mechanic and knowledge within the trucking industry. </li><li>1 year of air brake experience to perform federal inspections and services. </li><li>Air system and ABS diagnostic experience. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>Various Voluntary Benefits </li><li>401K </li><li>PTO </li></ul> <p>For additional details on benefits, please click on the link below.</p> <p>Benefits.pdf</p> <p>About Us:</p> <p>Trans-System Inc is a recognized expert in the trucking industry, melding advanced technology, experienced employees, and a passion to do it right.
