<p>Position: Associate Nurse Manager</p> <p>Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit</p> <p>Facility: Miami Valley Hospital</p> <p>Shift: Full-time Day/Evening Hours/ 80 Hours Per Pay</p> <p>The Associate Nurse Manager has responsibilities for a functional area of patient services and must collaborate with others to achieve strategic objectives and unit-based goals. Assists in communication of division and unit vision and goals, develops a team of highly skilled staff, ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes, administers orientation and continuing education activities, and promotes excellence in clinical practice through interpretation of standards of care and provision of guidance and educational interventions. Practice is consistent with applicable licensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The Associate Nurse Manager, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, directs and oversees the functions of the patient care team.</p> <p>Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BS in Nursing required, MS in Nursing preferred.</p> <p>Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License</p> <p>Certification: Current CPR certification; ACLS certification preferred. Demonstrated expert clinical skills in area of speciality; current certification in specialty preferred.</p> <p>Experience: Minimum one year supervisory/leadership experience and five years clinical experience with three years in area of specialty. Level III NICU experience required.</p> <p>Skills/Other: Excellent leadership and decision making skills. Demonstrates a full range of highly effective communication and problem-solving skills. Proven clinical competence. Proven ability to perform ongoing prioritization. Proven strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills.</p>
